threshold of the New World
they speak of Giants
they speak of Titans
of Quixotes with ideals
beards and rifles
There, in Santo Domingo
they talk about suffering
they talk about misery
about oppression, exploitation
and opprobrium
argonauts
and fights
and of a colonel without people
who transformed himself in a leader
in constitutional president
and revolutionary chielf
without aiming to be it.
