Against Sissy’s will, her children were taken from her and forced to remain under the custody of her mother-in-law
Sophie and the court.
Unable to educate her own children’s the Empress Sissy revealed herself against her husband the Emperor Franz Josef, her
mother Sophie and the court.
Despite of beeing very unhappy in her private life, Sissy become very soon -with her beauty, intelligence and charm-, an
indisputable princess an Empress in the hearts and minds of people of the Austrian and Hungarian Empire.
Sissy battled with her unhappiness and loneless by immersing herself in the art of the horse riding, physical exercises and
diet, to help to keep her beauty.
